Help! I need to expand my music library

The three genres I really want to expand into are Blues, Jazz, and R and B. Please recommend to me your favorite albums from these genres as I'm very interested in learning more.

1- Lightnin' Hopkins- Double Blues
2- Johnny Winter- The Progressive Blues Experiment

Jazz:
1- Miles Davis- Kind Of Blue
2- John Coltrane- A Love Supreme

Sorry, can't help with R&B, it's a genre i never really got into...

R & B = I'll suggest "Hi Times" which is a sampler from the box set of Hi Records' Soul and R & B box set. Anne Peebles, Al Green, Syl Johnson, and more on this. If you like what you hear, get the box set!
