@Matt (DisasterArea), couple questions:
This may have been asked but I didn't see it- is it possible to add the side exp-roller to a DMC-4?
If so, is it possible to do this while retaining the existing exp jack too, having them normalled or something? I would be looking to use one or the other; not both simultaneously.
Could I supply my own 1590BB enclosure painted but un-drilled?
Thanks for your time.

The DMC-4 enclosure is not as deep (tall) as the one on the DMC-3XL. It's possible to put a side roller in the box but the large knob is taller than the DMC-4 box. The small knob isn't a problem, though. As for "normalling" the jack, that's quite easy to do. The pot would be connected unless you hooked up an external pedal.

I'd hesitate to drill a customer's painted box since there are so many things that can go wrong but if you don't mind taking a chance then I'll give it a shot.

I just ordered a DMC-3XL! Exciting stuff.

But I struggled choosing a color... I was able to find a couple examples on Mammoth Electronics' site, but only using google - is there a place where I can actually see the other finishes all in one place (like on the same page)?
I chose black sparkle but I would love to see the hammertone and the black texture. (I saw silver robot sparkle).

The Facebook page has photos of everything:

Click on "DMC Controllers"

If you want a different colour, just let me know via email.

That's what I have and it looks cool. Reminds me of the Lunar Module.

I mentioned it in one or two of the XL videos, but I've never really showed off that feature, TBH.

I finally ordered a 3XL around 2 weeks ago. Excited to try this. I ordered one in the Timeline hammertone with the white/cream roller knob, like the photo on the DAA store page.
