Ceriatone or Trinity (dc30 clones)

I'm looking into either of these amps

Trinity tc15: http://trinityamps.com/Product_Trin15.htm

or the Ceriatone Dizzy 30: http://www.ceriatone.com/productSubPages/Muchle$$DC30/Muchle$$DC30Complete.htm

I dont build so the DIY isnt really an option for me. I like the feature on the Ceriatone of having a 30 watt to 15 watt switch on the back, and to get that on the Trinity would cost quite a bit more.

Anyone got any feedback on the Ceriatone? Or even how it compares to the Trinity?

Thanks!

I have no experience with Trinity, but I have 2 Ceriatone amps.
The wiring and workmanship is absolutely first rate.
Nik's amps sound awesome and are very affordable-boutique quality with significant savings.
Nik himself is very easy to deal with and his amps are delivered when promised.
One big vote for Ceriatone!

I have a Ceriatone and another on order. I'll second the Ceriatone vote.
Nik's great to work with and his build quality is VERY nice.

Well the TC15 is 15W while the DC30 is 30W so yeah. The difference in volume is minimal though, both are damn loud.

The 15 is super versatile I find and can get a lot of different tones. Very good quality components. Really like the custom Heyboer transformers!

How are the cleans on the tc15? Does it breakup fairly early?
My box breaks up pretty quick which I don't really like.

The TC15 is a KILLER HEAD. I love the tone. Playing mine thru 2x12" w/ blues.

With a strat there's a fair amount of headroom. With humbuckers not so much. Less on on the EF86 than the other.

If you favor strats/teles, then there's enough clean to make most people happy. If you favor HB's and are looking for real clean tones, I'd opt for 30 watts.

I have a Ceriatone DC30. It is a very nice amp. Well made. Mine's upgraded with some fancy transformers. Whatever. JJ tubes. 2x12 cab with Jensens.

Here's a clip of how it sounds.

YMMV.
