TC Electronic Nova Reverb - $150 worth it?

I have a chance to pick up a Nova Reverb for about $150. Anyone think that's a good enough price to grab it for? I already have a Verbzilla and a Digiverb, and I've had a nice rackmount verb that I sold.

No...Don't spend so much money on so many 'okay' reverb pedals...If I were you I'd sell the other two you have and get a Strymon BSR or something nice...

+1

Also, the Neunaber WET reverb could also be an attractive higher-end reverb pedal to look into.

I'm keeping the other two because they serve a specific purpose. I'm only contemplating the Nova because it does sound nice, and/or I could flip it in a trade.

They all go for significantly more than that on feebay, so perhaps it might be worth it?

Eh, you can't really flip it for that much more...Once you have to pay Paypal fees or pay shipping to whoever you trade or sell with, you could end up losing money. Play it safe...Don't spend that much money on a pedal you don't really know about or how it sounds...

If you really like reverb: sell the two you have currently and invest in a BSR and a WET.
Of course, this has already been mentioned.

If the two serve a specific purpose then keep them. But maybe you should look into the Nova Reverb to see if it can fulfill the 2 specific purposes those pedals fulfill. I would rather have a pedal that can fill many roles on my board. Teh Nova Reverb has many options in its arsenal: different reverbs, stereo, presets, tap, etc....

I have had my eyes on a WET. The stereo version will be coming out soon. Also, the HoF verb is getting pretty great reviews. They're both smaller and use standard voltages, so maybe I'll just pass on it.

Thanks guys!
