Future Fender reissues

Do you think Fender will one day reissue Silverface amps?

Why? A silverface Deluxe Reverb doesn't sound as good as a BF and would cost just as much to build.

I do think Fender could do a "special edition" DR with silverface cosmetics just for fun. Call it the "bell-bottom" edition or something like that. Maybe a special promo through Guitar Center?

Cosmetics only are what I was basing it on. Sound doesn't come into play because Fender doesn't manufacture the reissues' electronics properly anyway.

IIRC early silverface Deluxes are really blackface amps, circuit-wise, with the silverface cosmetic treatment. But in the vintage amp market, the blackface amps obviously are more desirable. Likely one reason Fender went with blackface rather than silverface in the RI.

I'd like to see Fender reissue the 6G6B blonde Bassman, or start making the brown '63 Vibroverb reissue again. Those were great.

This may be a pipe dream... but I'd love to them to re-issue some sort of affordable version of the tweed deluxe so that I can get that vibe without paying an arm and a leg. If cloners like L'il Dawg can do a 5E3 for under a grand... why can't Fender???

Why would they do that? For them to sell less desirable amps at the same price of a blackface reissue?

A blonde era fender revival would be awesome!

It's prestige... You basically pay the extra cash for the brand name.
