Any Love for Brinsley Schwarz?

I've been diving into late 70's pub rock and power pop recently and I've fallen in love with "Squeezing Out Sparks" by Graham Parker and the Rumour.

The great Brinsley Schwarz is the driving instrumental force in this band and oh man, this is my kind of guitar player! Like Cropper, he's all about supporting the song and that restraint seems to lead to the most amazing licks. . . Here's one of my favorite songs from that album:

I love BS the musician. However IMO the best stuff he was involved with was BS the band.

Brinsley was a great band that should have been bigger. They get lumped in with the pub rock crowd. But the sound of those early albums is more Grateful Dead, Gram Parsons, Neil Youngish than anything. Silver Pistol is a great album.
