Good point, although interesting that they have non-locking tuners.

I have guitars with and without non-locking tuners and I have to say, it's no big deal to me one way or the other. Using the "bend the string over the top" technique, I can change a string virtually as fast that way as with a locking tuner.

P.S. I assume they have the type of tuners they do because those are the leftover parts Joe had lying around when he and crew assembled them.

To be period-correct, ge-nu-ine Eastpointe Revs must have non-locking tuners.

Yeah, non-locking is ok, it's just that the locking is so nice.

Well, I now have at hand (among other new goodies) my STP bridge PUP for my Avenger and my NOS gold pickguard for my black Rocco. I'll be heading up to Phil Jacoby's shop on the 29th for installation!

Black Gold

Speaking of gold, black, and pickguards... I just put a black pickguard on my brushed metal Wolfman, replacing the beige colored one. It looks great. It took longer than I expected, but turned out looking good.

Ok, I can't stand it!!! I've been waiting and looking and gas'n for a Rev, but can't find what I want. So here it goes, I want a Rick Vito or one of the Metal finishes (Flame, Lava) bad!!! Name your price, the money is saved up. I'll pay more than fair for what I'm looking for. PM or email me.
Thanks for considering, Wes

The only thing I'm concerned about is how "Steelers" the gold pickguard will look on my black Rocco after I replace the stock silver one.

Jon, I'm not sure about Steelers, but I do prefer the silver to the gold on black.
