I think I've posted this before, but here's mine. It doesn't have the *bling bling* of the sliver flake, but I still like it...

The best thing about silverflake is how it reacts under stage lights - essentially, the guitar takes on the color of whatever light is flashed on it at the time. Very cool!

Q. What do you call a Hitman routed to add a middle Strat PUP?

A. S-Hitman!

[pronounced "Es-Hitman," you animals! ]

Stay tuned for additional near-future developments.

It's gonna be shweet. Here's how my tech, Phil Jacoby - www.philtone.com - is setting her up for me:

'52 RI Tele bridge PUP (my Tele has a Nocaster bridge PUP now)
Strat Avenger bridge PUP in middle (my Avenger has a HD STP now)
SD Jazz neck humbucker neck PUP (my Godin has a HD Z90 now)

regular 5-way Strat switch wired like a Strat

1st minitoggle = splits the neck 'bucker
2nd minitoggle = gives me bridge and neck PUPs

I'll post a pic when it's ready!

I just ordered a SSC pickguard and 3 vito P-90s from Rev; I might convert my Wolfman to a SSC (while retaining the entire Wolfman original assembly intact), with Vol NM, Vol B, Master tone, and push pull adds bridge.

Any thoughts?

I converted my regular Slingshot into a SSC not that long ago. Mine doesn't have a side jack, so one of the pickguard holes is still the output. I used a push-pull pot on the tone control to add the bridge in any position, and I like it a lot. The 'all 3 on' setting isn't all that useful, but there's no way i'll give up the bridge/neck combo. I'd recommend it!

I am officially screwed!

There is now a Reverend dealer, not within 100 miles, within five miles of my house.
I dropped in today, a Club King, a Flatroc with a Les Trem, and one of each kind of Warhawk II. I liked the Club King 290 and the Warhawk HB best.
How Am I not going to buy one now? Plus, I can't order from the website. I guess I'd have to order through the store.
Anyhow it was nice to get a hands-on tryout.

Yes, you're in trouble - I bet that CK290 will be making the 5 mile trek real soon! I couldn't be happier with mine.

As an aside, I picked up a Johnson "Grooveyard" ES-335 copy this weekend. $299, Made in China but what a guitar for the money. Even if all I do is pose and practice my bluesman face with it, who cares at that price? It actually sounds and plays very well and has a great fret job.
