Agreed. That's why I replaced my Avenger's stock bridge PUP with a Harmonic Design STP ("Strat-size Tele PUP"). Which worked out very well for me, actually, because now the bridge Strat PUP is the middle PUP in my S-Hitman!

Better duck if you replace the wrong vowel on a Slingshot

And you've also got a guitar similar to the Avenger TL.

Just scored me an engine turn Rocco!

Very very psyched, it'll go nicely with my aluminum gold Welfman.

I guess your wife is history then.

I saw that Rocco. You must have convinced him to take it off ebay.

Nope, I never asked him to take it off of ebay. I only asked if he would add a BIN. He said the system wouldn't let him.

Oh, and with regard to my sweetie, some will have to go now. Blue aluminum SSC and flame maple Manta Ray 290 with plastic still on the pickguard.

You got it from my buddy ReverendRipper... good for you! He offered it to me prior to putting it on eBay, but since I just bought the Crook Custom Tele I couldn't pull the trigger right away... enjoy it, from the pics it looks perfect!

Why not offer them up to the fanatics here first? Keep the guitars in the "family."

I had a wonderful experience today playing at my friend's b'day party in a big outdoor tent while it was raining like heck all around us! I arrived late so to save time and space, I just put my 'Hound in UK mode, plugged the S-Hitman directly in, and set the master volume so as to get some nice overdrive with my 'bucker and have it clean up to a mild grind with my single coils. It was awesome! The partygoers were really diggin' the music and the drummer, who's a pro presently cutting an album with Robben Ford and Mike Stern, among others, and a pair of Warner Bros. instructional DVDs, offered some deeply appreciated kind words.

Sheesh, this makes it all worthwhile.

It was a short set. We started out with a kinda funky/spacey jam in an E groove. Then we did I Shot the Sherriff, Feelin' Allright, Jump, Jive 'n' Wail, Somebody to Love, and That'll Be the Day. There was no real rhyme or reason to the set list, different people asked to sing the various tunes.

Here's the drummer's website, BTW. He was truly a pleasure to play with, super nice guy and, as I mentioned, very kind in his feedback.

Boy, the RDP is pretty undependable lately. I may have to resort to the unthinkable, playing my guitar.
