"The three Revs in stock already are a Jetstream 390 in 3-color burst, a blue Warhawk, and a black Club King 290."

Dear Jon (O' Grand High Potentate of the Congregation),

I must update your statement:
I went down to the Crossroads and the Jetstream 390 is now gone.
(Repeat)
I could not resist its fit and finish
And its tone made me take it home.

Now that I have officially become a member of the congregation, I seek the blessings of all my fellow congregants that my Jetstream helps me keep the Hellhounds off my trail (unless they are made by Joe Naylor).

The Warhawk and Club King remain, but only because there are limits to GAS. Can we say "monster tone, great fit and finish, and moderate prices" boys and girls?

Brother Vic

Reverend gear in stock and or coming

John,
Thanks for the Cudos and support!

Vic Tynes just picked up his new Jetstream 390. He digs it. He said that you put the squeeze on him to finally get onboard with a Reverend.

I have four new Reverends coming in this week or early next week. I am getting one each:

Volcano in Honey
Charger in Black w/ maple neck (one off)
Flatrock in Orange
Jetstrean 390 in Black

In stock now:

Warhawk II HB in Blue
Club King 290 in Black

Come See Us!
Thanks,

Vince

Jon's comments on the import line are high praise indeed. I'm not in a buying mode (though there are a couple of pedals I have my eye on), but I see an import Reverend in my future as well.

FYI - I had a Reverend sighting last night. The Stooges were playing on Henry Rollins' show on the Independent Film Channel last night. Ron Ashton was playing what appeared to be a red Jetstream 390. I think he had a Drivetrain as well. He was playing through a Marshall. I thought he sounded great (no surprises there). It's nice to see a Reverend on the teevee.

Really enjoying the Jetstream here too. Mine is the blue/rosewood.

I'm going to have to take back what I said about not using the bass contour much with P90s. It seems to come in handy for a nice clean sound on the neck PU or neck/middle.

F'roc in the house

hey kids, just thought I'd share a pic of the two latest additions to the family. Just got the Flatroc yesterday from East Lake Music in New York after a wait of a few weeks. Ah, the anticipation. Anyway, its a beauty, and I can't say enough good things about the neck in particular, really smooth finish, very comfortable shape [for me] and very nice fret work. Still getting used to the pickups, its going to take a few days, the dang thing sounds different every time I pick it up. Also my first Rev with the bass contour, which so far I like. I usually set and forget both the volume and tone on all my guitars, but I may actually use the bass contour on this one. Also pictured, for those who are interested, is my newly acquired Eastwood Airline Tuxedo, which is a really wonderful guitar. Completely hollow [no center block], smallish body, very versatile, sounds great from open chime to gritty growl.

cheers,

tim

Agreed. I love my Hellhound.

Jon Silberman - FWIW, I bought my HH on a recommendation from you way back in the days of that long Reverend thread on the Fender Discussion Page.(I think that was the one with the long thread similar to this one). I left that thread when the USA models went away, only to find you several years later in another similar thread! Small virtual world.

Several Reverends show up in the Nickelback video for "Rock Star" -- courtesy of Kid Rock.

I played one of those small Airlines over the weekend. It had a neck like the hitting side of a baseball bat! Seriously, it was more than I could handle but if you like that sort of thing, it's gotta satisfy.

Congrats on the Flatroc!

Hmmm, a few weeks ago there were HH combos and Goblins that weren't even selling their first listing. 'Course, there were like 3 of each on at the same time.

I have one of each Rev amp now (including 2 hellhounds, one head and one combo) -- the beauty of it was I sold my Guytron amp and boogie amp which pretty much paid for my nice little Rev collection -- and I like the Rev amps better.

Small Eastwoods

John,
If it was the H44 DLX it does have a huge neck. Good for slide. For such a small piece, it has amazing crunch!
