Club King 290

this is killing me- for whatever reason my browser won't open the pictures of the new 290. Guess I have to wait till I get home to see it. (a new first- jonesing for a picture that I know will cause GAS- it's like craving white castles...)

Truth be known, I hope the opening of the Rev forum doesn't kill this thread but que cera, cera.

Seems like a good idea to keep the external threads going in the interest of spreading the good word

Come to think of it, I will most likely still participate in this thread. I like the Gear Page. The level of technical discourse is very high compared to other places (often way above my head). Plus, where else but the gear page can I see so many custom guitars, high end guitars, vintage guitars... guitars, guitars guitars.... I love it.

Hey Jon, I finally made the ranks and got my Vintage Guitar mag. Besides the ad, there is also a review of the Rick Vito model. They're pretty much raving about it.

And that's supposed to be news? What's not to rave about when it comes to USA Revs?!

P.S. I'll probably be coming up to Philly Sat. after all (with Jamie Mintzer). Too many good folks are coming to miss it!

Good news you're coming Jon, that way you can check the facts and we can all duke it out over import Revs in person. :-) Maybe Mike should join us. Do you think Joe will let us smash guitars over each other's heads? The Rick Vito model will hurt less.

By the way, your man Pete did such a good job on my ancient Studiomaster amp that it might be out-ranking my Hellhound for my main combo amp. Too bad I need a roadie to haul the beast around. It weighs almost as much as me and I'm likely to kill myself when I encounter stairs.

Mike,

It's pretty much all day no matter what. 2.5 to 3 hrs travel each way pretty much kills the day. Add some traffic and you're into the evening if you want to spend some time there.

P.S. to Glenn - nothing would please me more than to dig the imports and besides, I'm a lover, not a fighter. :angel
