I might see you guys up there. I just can't decide if I'm into driving up there...can't find anyone that will go. I used to drive up to Camden, NJ all the time for work and go hang out in Philly at night. It was always raining when I'd go up.

Joe really knows how to design great looking guitars! I really like the idea of the Club King w/Bigsby but it's pricey @ $729.

New Stage Kings

The new revs look pretty cool. I'd love to see a cross section of the Warhawk's body- is that raised center like a step or is it a gradual change? Can anyone tell?
One thing's for sure- I'm putting a tortoiseshell pickguard on my black SSC ASAP

I like the warhawk too... was wondering how hard it would be to bigsbyfy it. Seems doable since it's solid wood as long as the raised section is wide enough.

Martyn, it's got locking tuners too, so that would add to the cost as well. That guitar looks really nice. Probably the nicest of the new line.

I have to wonder what a P90 hollow body w/f hole would be like.

I miss the soundhole on the Flatroc. Wish I'd sprung on the original version earlier.

If I liked HB guitars, I'd dig the Warhawk...

I'm withholding comment until I can play them personally on Saturday.

The cream Flatroc is a winner. I like the non-f-hole look better, BTW. The black Jetstream is way cool too. The Stage King is also very happening, especially the burst. I'm looking forward to your reviews, Jon.

That cream Warhawk almost makes me wish I was a guitar player. I really hope Joe does a bass run. He could do something real cool I think with the new imports and I don't think he would have too much trouble selling a small run with the right price.

I dig the orange Flatroc. 7.5 lbs. w/ a Bigsby? That's amazing.

P90 with F-hole

GlennK,
I don't know about the Rev, but I used to have a mid-60s Gibson 125tc, which is hollowbody, thin-line, cutaway, archtop with f-holes with a single P90 in the neck. The verdict: it sounded fantastic especially through a small tube amp.

That little Silvertone amp I had at the first DC-area RevJam was what I usally played it through and I loved the whole setup.

The P90 sounds very good with the "airyness" that the open bodied guitar provides. I know that the new revs are semi-hollow and a bit heavier than the Gibson, but I think that it's comparable enough to think that the combination should sound pretty good.
