Kauer Banshees At Mountain Cat Guitars

Hi Folks, We have a batch of Banshees in the final stages of building. Doug K Has allowed us to be the exclusive U.S rep of his Banshees and We love them around here. Doug has been building a large batch but they are going fast. As some of you may know, I sold our floor model to Walter Becker because there wasn't enough time to get one built for him before the tour started. He is playing his nightly with Steely Dan. Right after that Doug started this bunch and here are some pics. Some are sold already but they can always be ordered through us.

The latest Banshee

Here are some pics of the latest Banshee to leave Doug Kauer's shop. Its already been received by its new owner and He is loving it!!!!!! He already has one Banshee and has another that will be finishing up in the next few weeks.
There is only one more from this batch that will be for sale, I need to keep one for a floor model and the other is a special edition that Doug and I dreamed up that will take a few more steps than a normal one but I will post its progress as it is finishing up.
Since We are running out it seems like a perfect time to start discussing the next batch. Doug is ready to go, I am ordering a few for inventory and there are a few spots available if anyone wants in!! Any questions feel free to call or email.

Bump for a very cool dealer of very cool guitars. I was actually lucky enough to play the very guitar that Walter Becker ended up with and as is to be expected, Doug really hit quite a home run! Glad to hear about the success gentlemen.

New batch of Banshees

Doug Kauer is just finishing up the last Banshees from the last batch, these are all just about done and should be shipping out soon. Due to their popularity we are going to start another batch very soon. There are a few slots left so anyone interested get in touch.
There is another one from this batch that is not pictured that is a special edition Banshee that Doug And I dreamed up that we are really psyched about. We are going to keep it a surprise until its done.

More Banshee news

Here is a pic of the latest Banshee Doug K is shipping out. Very cool sea foam green with a humbucker. There are a few more that have color and are awaiting buffing and assembly. This bottom one is a new color for banshees, "april Gold", an old car color. This one will get full sized humbuckers. This one is available for sale. We had Doug build a few extras to get out ahead of demand. Some very cool colors and pickup combinations. Also, Doug is considering a run of Lefty Banshees. There are so few Firebird type guitars available for leftys so We are considering building a few. Anyone interested get in touch.

Does a bear shit in the woods? Its the very last Banshee that came from the same board as both of Walter Becker's Banshee's. It was built for another artist that we couldn't come to terms with. Upside is, I got to pick my favorite color for it.

BTW this is where it came from, pop's '68 Firebird

Seemed fitting
