I was trying really hard to not buy anything this year but joining another band required another amp since I don't have a car and the practice spaces are across town.

I bought a 1980 Marshall JMP 2204 for $450 from my bass player! It needed a little work but now it screaming and sounds killer! I might like it more than the 100 watters!

I wanted something with a bit more gain so I bought a JCA20h. It does indeed deliver the goods.
I'm waiting on delivery of another JTM45. This one is comming from Will Roemerman at Tone Amps in California. Mercury Mag trany's and chokes, Mullards, an MV and a buffered effects loop. I LOVE KT66's

This year: '72 Hiwatt DR103, Dr. Z Delta 88, and traded a couple nice amps for a Komet 80.

2011 has been much less active than 2010, but I'm hoping it will be a busy fall.

I bought a Mesa Boogie MKIIB in '83 that was my only amp until '06! Pretty good purchase.

In '06 I got a beat Victoria 20112 and put a Blue and some NOS tubes. I wish I had found that amp years ago!

In '09 I got a used Swart AST Pro which now has a Scumback J55 in it and it is amazing with 5881 power tubes!

A few months ago I got a used Swart SST-30 which I really love!

I sold the Boogie about 4 years ago as I didn't feel safe picking it up, but the latter 3 will probably always be with me.
