Hi there all,
Im a echo/delay junky and was plannin to buy a TTE but now ive discovered the echoczar and angelbaby through the threads here...and now i think i want both!! Damn! I know its lots of $ for echo/delay but im only using this and reverb. No more od, boost, etc. for me, ive tried a lot and simply dont play with these pedals. I only have a little tubescreamer left and hiding somewhere but thats it! If someone have more info about these units or a delay junky who have experienced both can give me some hints itll be really appreciated! Great Thanks! |

plenty of info on both in these forums.
currently, there's no end in sight for getting an echoczar. (you know the list is LONG when Ed states the following: Quote:
Soooooo, if you want immediate gratification, the TTE is your babe. dave

Great thanks Dave!
If theres no end to get an echoczar i guess ill go with the TTE. Ill probably wait a couple of years to hope to find an echoczar on the used market! Thanks again! |

I had an interesting conversation with Dave's guys yesterday-they've had two brand new TTEs in, both were broken from the factory and they're not getting any more. Has anyone heard of QC problems?

Robert Keeley is working on a delay pedal that he says will be done in the fall.
I would wait for an echoczar. its my holy grail.

You can't change tubes in the Echoczar for different flavors!!!!
You can in the TTE...I'm running an Amperex and RCA in her!!!

I have a TTE and like it alot. It is a machine though -w- some moving parts so the potential is there for trouble. On the other hand, it is really well built. The tubes give it a really fat sound. Since I have started using it, other players have commented about how fat my guitar sounds. Of course tubes can be a pain as well. No experience -w- the other units.

Thanks threm,
I dont know how i missed that thread...i read too fast i guess. A reverb/tremolo unit seems to me like a GREAT idea! Im going to take a look at the marble one plus ive found the weber revibe kit that may be fun building too... |
