What Footswitches will control my Digitech GSP21?

I pulled this unit out of the closet for fun but my footwswitch doesn't work 100%. Not all of the switches work.

Is there a compatible MIDI footswitch out there that will get the job done? All I need it to do is change patches.

Probably any standard midi switcher will work.

Get some DeOxit or other contact cleaner and clean the little pc mounted switches on your footswitch.
Is it a Control One?
The little switches also may need to have their connections to the board reflowed (resoldered)

I think you're right about the switches. I opened it up and the board looks ok. I think the switches might be loose or need to be replaced.

Do you have any idea who could do this for me? I'm ok with a soldering iron but I'm not circuit board good.

If you find one, a TV-Radio repair guy should be able to solder on PCB without problems...

footswitching for a mesa 5:25

I've got a proper 9 pin footswitch for the amp but I understand that I can use an alternate footswitch system through the banks in the rear. 1/4 inch jacks.

Just asking in case my footswitch breaks

Channel reverb and contour

I've never used any type of controller. Any suggestions

I "think" you can use the Digitech FS300 or something similiar.
It's just three momentary footswitches to toggle up, toggle down patches and bypass I believe.

When I got my ValveFX some idiot had modded (hacked) the Control One midi port for use with one of these.

I got the schem and wired it back to stock many years ago.

Well I got some good news today. On a whim I called Digitech Customer Support. The guy who answered was super nice. He found the switches I needed and dropped them in the mail today free of charge! I've got to say I'm super impressed with Digitech after this.
