Smile 2102 Kia Rio EX 5 door hatchback - Stud or Dud

It's rare to see a 5 door hatchback in the USA, but Kia have the new Rio. It will start at $14,350 and have the Kia 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.

Y.U.K.
I'm from another era, though I'll bet it's perfectly reasonable as an economy driver.

What is the drive train like? I like the styling actually. Kia continues to impress me.

I voted stud. I think it is certainly the direction we are headed. Kia has really stepped up their game the past few years.

You could probably lease the Kia Rio for zero down and $140 a month for 3 or 4 years or longer with that warranty.

I bought a new Optima 2 weeks ago...love it.
This car has the same nice seats, the same EXCELLANT NAV, and much the same insides. The designer came from Audi, and is turning the brand around.

IDK... I bought a Kia Sorrento for my mother in law, and it has been a great car. Not given any problems for the 4 years she has had it.

We appear to have different ideas of the word "stud".

And now back to your previously scheduled commercial.

I can't speculate on a car that's not coming out for another 91 years. That said. not more than a couple years ago Kia was disposable crap to be avoided at all cost. I understand things have gotten better. I'd buy an AWD Impreza for 18k instead. In fact, I did.

This is a teen car. I have not been afraid to even get in the S-2000 and drive for 7 hours but this Kia thing would just about kill me or make me lose my mind. Well, KIA does mean Killed In Action - that would be about right.

I'm not sure "stud" is the right term, but I like it. I would buy the Optima instead, but I think this is an attactive option in the small care segment. I think Kia has been making considerable steps forward over the last few years.

Kia have some nice gear haulers that are also great for going to the mountains or the beach.
