trying out the micro-pitch stereo rig for a song...

working on an album...for this demo i wanted to try my hand at that late-evh pitch-shifted rhthym tone. i only had teh camera set up for the drums, so i jumped on there and added a drum track for the heck of it.

Sounds cool, very VH-ish. Plug in or outboard unit? I have some Yamaha gear with those capabilities but they don't sound quite like the eventide sound.

yea this is an old yamaha gep-50. basically i take an fx loop out from my tweaker and run into the yamaha and into another ss combo. i find it sounds better micing both amps instead of just doing the pitch shift in the box. sounds wider.
