I'm not affiliated with him, he's down in LA, I'm up in the Bay Area. We met once in 2008.

I started in the MI business as a process engineer in 2007 as a contractor for a dozen different amplifier and effects pedal companies and started doing designs as well for various circuits and devices that were not yet in production that the company engineers were stuck on. I started doing some rigs separately from there that ended up drawing a lot of demand around 2009. I still do plenty of engineering as a contractor - however my primary focus these days is on my own designs (Vertex Axis Wah, Vertex Dual & Tri Buffer, Vertex "Landau" Mod Chorus, and upcoming Boost/Mid-Gain preamp pedal).
