Beautiful guitar... and a well written review.

Yes.. a Heritage 535 with Seth Lover pickups is a great semi hollow.

Great reveiw too, the only problem is availability to try one. I don't think there is one with in 200 miles of Seattle, which is a shame. I would like to try the H 150 and others too.

Kind Regards,
Steve

200 miles? Heritage should find more dealers, hm?

I know how you feel there is no dealer around here either, started to buy a Prospect but backed out of it

The only thing you may want to mention is that the SD pickups are an optional upgrade. Standard pickups are Schallers.

That used to be true, but I don't believe that Heritage has regularly used Schaller pickups for a couple of years now.... other than the HRW pickups ( which are modified Schallers). Some of the hollowbodies may be an exception.

Now they are mostly Seymour Duncan pickups, except the P-90s are Lollar.

Whatever they are, Antiquities are an upgrade. When I bought mine a few years ago, Schallers were the stock pickups, upgrades were Duncan 59s, Duncan Seth Lovers, and Duncan Antiquities. The price went up in that order.
