Drivers who tail gate: knock it off or die

If I tap my brakes and you nearly lose control of your vehicle, you're too close. If this happens, please don't speed up to glare at me for your own idiocy. This goes double for the soccer moms who think their snot-nosed larvae justify passing in the bike lane, passing in the median, and of course, tail gating.

Spread the word. Raise the finger. Help with the yelling. I don't have nearly enough scorn available to me for these...these THUGS. Help me educate these dangerous, brain-dead car zombies.

I hate them so.

How about the "pacers" that sit in your blind spot? As bad or even more dangerous than tailgaters! I rarely get tailgated, except when someone else is slowing down the pack, but the pacing phenomenon is baffling to me.

I keep a good pace and know how to drive fast when needed (I road raced for over twenty years) still, if some guy wants to read the serial number on my exhaust pipe, I move over and let him pass. There is no need to be controlled by the guy behind you. Get the thing over with and let him /her pass and out of your life.
Still there are tons of drivers who want to teach tailgaters some kind of lesson; remember, all the mirror-watching takes your eyes off the road - you might just make the mistake that you are trying to force the tailgater to make!

Of course it would be just entirely too much common sense to pull over and let the tail gating driver pass you. Get back to us when you pull your little tap the brakes stunt, the car behind you goes off the road and somebody dies due to you self aggrandizing scorn. Now I really don't like tailgaters either but I think that there are better ways of handling it.

The right lane is for the speed limit...The left lane is the fast lane
If you are in the left lane doing the limit or under, so I cant pass...and you dont take the hint...prepare for tailgation!!!

If I am in the left lane doing 10 over and the guy behind me wants to do 20 over, I will move and let him pass, then move back over...

If you cant do the speed limit in the right lane, if you cant make a right turn without coming to a complete stop and waiting 15 seconds, if you cant merge into a left turn lane without coming to a complete stop first, or only move into half the lane...then prepare to get up close and personal...maybe its time to take the short bus

How about when you go to pass, and the jerkoff THEN starts to accelerate as you are passing them, only to be right behind you after you pass them. You weren't going the speed limit before, now you want to make it difficult for me to pass AND tailgate me??!!

If you are old, retired, drive 10 under because you cant see, you should not be in the road during morning/luch/evening rush hour...

I swear to go I see more traffic jams caused by some little old white hair lady...her hands have a death grip on the wheel, a terrified look on her face, in the left lane because she is turning left in 15 miles...going 10 under...with a pacer right next to her so no one can pass...GRRRRRRR

I drive a Yukon XL. I need it to haul PA and guitar rig to my gigs. I drive the speed limit or just above (5 mph). Everyone thinks since I'm in a high-profile vehicle, they should tailgate or pull out in front of me. Drivers are idiots......
