Looking for some detachable casters like Mesa Boogie uses on their cabs....

Anyone know who makes (manufactures) the detachable casters that Mesa Boogie uses on their cabs and larger combos? I'd like to get a set for a 4x12 cab.

Thanks!

Should be able to contact Mesa directly and get OEM parts.

MojoTone.com or TubesandMore.com also sell stuff like that. Might be cheaper cost than OEM

Yeah...Boogie wants $80 for a set. I'm sure they are cheaper elsewhere...after all, they don't make 'em...they buy 'em from someone else. I'll check out these other options you guys have posted...thanks!

The boogies are far superior to the carvin or anything else but...there just casters I guess?
Boogies=Machined aluminum base plates
everything else=stamped out pot metal base plates

I agree...after looking at these other options that have been posted, they are quite a bit more durable. I just wish I knew who manufactured these for them, and I could probably get them for $40 direct. If I do find it, I'll post where you can get them for sure!

They are called Trac-Lok (sp?) casters...standard on my F-100 and they rule.

IMHO, ordering direct from M/B is a pain. I've had to order parts before and it was alwas expensive and slow. Of course, YMMV.
