Did you sell them all just to have ONE amp? How did that work out?

How many of you sold all your amps to keep or to buy just one?

It may have been because you had to (the other one was $$$$) or because you realized that you never, ever, play all those other ones just sitting around.

How did it work out?

I'm getting there but for me it's a question of how big/loud/powerful an amp I still need. My 100+ watters are gone, my 45-65 watters are going(down to one) and my 15 watters + 30/15 convertible will be staying.

I had about 10 amps a few years ago. Booteek and vintahge. I'm down to three now. A black face Deluxe Reverb, a 72 metal panel Super Lead and a Mesa Mark V.

I figger if I can't get it done with those they called the wrong guy.

On that note I do miss a few of them, mostly the Reeves Custom 50 watt...sweet amp.

I model mostly now, but have to have an amp... just in case.

Got rid of some great stuff and now only own a DRRI.

Very happy. If you can't get a good tone out of a good Deluxe Reverb, it ain't the amp...

Only one amp? That's just silly!
I have a:
Soultone Marshall 2061
Silvertone 1484
Marsh 5e3
Weber 5f1
and am looking for a few more SE amps. I have a few SE designs I'm looking at building too.
