it slays the boss. no cheezy b3 samples or vibes, either, just guitar.

if you want clean, there's only one way to go, & that's the dls rotosim. this thing is a toy, no doubt, but it does sound pretty kool.

I prefer univibe to Leslie, but those clips are pretty good. especially the 145 Medium ramping and the L16.

Sorry muddy, but they sound better than the RotoSim clips.

I don't know why Boss did such a lousy demo video at NAMM.

I checked the Line 6website yesteday and it wasn't listed. I was trying to find out when the Liqua-Flange was going to hit the streets. I called today and was told that they are starting to ship in one week. Hopefully in time for the three day holiday weekend, so I can sit back and play. $119 for the Rotomachine is a steal!

Holy crap, it does sounds nice. Much better than the RotoSim clips, IMO. And tap tempo is a nice feature.

um-m-m, no, i don't think it has a tap tempo. you wouldn't want that with a leslie, anyway. it's for switching between slow & fast speeds.

yeah, there are stereo in/out jacks. i really wish they had given up the stereo inputs for an exp pedal jack (for braking!}!

One thing about the Boss that I think may be a misunderstanding -- I've heard a few people on the various boards refer to a "B3 sample" in the pedal. If you watch the Boss demo, the guy quickly refers to the "organ sound of my GR20" guitar synth. In other words, that organ sample is in the GR20, not the RT20 pedal itself.

Definitely interested in a shootout between the Boss, Line6 and DLS, though!

i think that it was generally understood the b3 was not coming from the rt-20.
