"dls-rotosim" or "strymon-lex"....?
was about to pull the trigger on the lex,but decided to do more research....
i thought about the neo ventilator but it's just too much dough... the dls looks and sounds amazing...anyone compared the two? thanks |

No, but I've got the dls versa vibe, which a truly amazing pedal. Not many here seem to have used dls effects.

I have not yet tried the Lex. I did own a DLS for awhile, and it does indeed sound great BUT... I found the effect couldn't get very "deep", or "pronouced", even with the internal mix pot(s) turned all the way up. If you like MILD leslie, it's great tho.
The other problem I had with the DLS is that when I switched speeds, I also had to tweak other controls to optimize the sound... which I did NOT have to do with my H&K Rotosphere. But that could be a personal preference thing. I think the DLS is one of the better leslie sims out there. I just prefer the Rotosphere. And, judging from demos, I would probably prefer the Lex as well.

i've had a rotosim on my board since 05' and can't live without it, i may be just alot more simple in my application but, the only thing i think the lex has on it is size...
