Instructional Videos

I recently saw John Petrucci's instructional video and was pretty amazed. This is the only instructional video I've seen, but I'd like to find some more. Any suggestions?

Netflix. They have a ton! For jazz, I like the Jimmy Bruno vid. Country fingerstyle, the Buster B. Jones stuff.

Depends on what your goals are, what you like to play, listen to, etc...If you are a shredder, check out Paul Gilbert's 'Intense Rock' series.

Marty Friedman's 'Melodic control', Jamie Humphries 'Power Pentatonics' and 'Fretboard Navigator series' , Stuart Bull's 'Chords & the scales that fit them' and Danny Gills 'Shredding with Arpeggios' are among my favourites. Keep going back to them again and again. Am also a big fan of most licklibrary technique DVDs. For free stuff 'Riff of the week' on youtube is fantastic.

Go and join www.licklibrary.com. I don't care what level your playing is at, they have the best instructional DVDs out there. You will find whatever you are looking for,be it learning covers note for note, or technique and theory DVDs. Also there instructors are some of the best players on the planet like Guthrie Govan, Andy James, Jamie Humphries, Danny Gill, Mike Casswell and Dave Kilminster to name a few.
