Impossible search for a simple guitar strap...

Just want a comfortable strap--3"-4", no designs, embroidery, not picky about materials, as long as it is comfy--thinking leather, but neoprene might be nice.

One thing--I am 6'7" and wear my guitar low. I need it to be 66", with a little play longer and shorter. Suggestions?

I just ordered a couple of Italia straps yesterday. They had a sale recently, so I figured I'd give them a shot. It looks like they're pretty amenable to customized orders, plus they look like they are pretty nice -- leather, reasonably priced. Might want to check them out. -- italiastraps.com

Levys makes long straps without decoration.

Or do what a friend did, connect 2 together to make it longer. He did a nice job of it too.

The most comfortable straps, I find, are those basic cheap, black, Ernie Ball straps.
Don't know if they stretch out to 66" though, never had to try!
I find thick leather straps to annoying.

I make simple leather straps as you describe.

Mostly for my friends and myself, not as a business.
They're pretty nice.
I can custom size it for you.

PM me if you like.

Here's one that's got some silver lettering, but that can be left off.

Italia for sure. I have four of them.
Simple, no metal buckles or do-dads to ding your guitar, soft real leather and they will make it the way you want. You can have a smooth backing or not and your desired length.
AND, they are almost always on sale two for one.(that's around $35 each)
Just send them an email, tell them what you want and they get right back to you

Levy's long is the longest I've found, but still not freakishly long enough to satisfy me LOL. Now your friends idea however is straight up brilliant, can't believe I haven't thought of it before and I really appreciate the suggestion!
