I don't know...the demo vids I've seen of it didn't zero in on the knobs. Regardless of his settings, keep in mind he uses a wireless before it (and I think some other buffered pedals) and feeds it into a dirty amp.

This is fact that cannot be dismissed: the tone and feel are night and day when you have a buffer before it. Like two different pedals. Good buffer, bad buffer, doesn't matter. I use both knobs full up when I'm plugged straight in but have them marked for when I'm using my wireless at much lower settings. One simply cannot match the sound from it that I love when I'm plugged straight in no matter where I set the knobs. A buffer before it requires it to be tamed it a bit and it isn't as dynamic.
