Agile 335 hum help.

Hello,

I have a customer that has brought in an Agile 335 copy. The set up is no problem, the real question is that it hum's when plugged in. I know these guitars are not shielded. I don't think there is any way to shield this guitar. Is it possible that it could be something else in the electronics. It does have some rust on the metal parts, jack and pickup covers, lots of corrosion.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Make sure the bridge is still grounded properly. Those wires are thin.

Strings aren't grounded with the Bigsby mod.

The strings were grounded to the old stop tail piece, I moved the string ground to the bridge, still the same problem.

I talked to a friend about this problem. He said it could just be a noisy pickup. Also, the bridge pickup is a humbucker and the neck pickup is a P-90. I don't think that combination would help with hum.
