I love this version! From the 'Live in Boston' disc. One of the best songs about onerism ever!

I am such a nut's Peter Green fan. Over the last 6 or 7 years he has influenced my playing and thinking about guitar more than anyone else.

Here's a fun 'Playboy Mansion' version. Not as good, but I bet they were having a blast!

Best song about masturbation ever written. I heard a band do this once in Manhattan...and nobody knew what it was.

Over the past eight or nine months I've been really digging into Peter Greens music. I love his playing, or should I say "not over playing". Such a fantastic artist.

Now, I know this guy His name is Mick (Fleetwood)
Now, he don't care when he ain't got no chick
He do the shake, the rattlesnake shake
Yes, he do the shake and jerks away his blues.

The above incident actually happened, in a van going down the M1 motorway back to London after a gig by PGFM and "inspired" Peter to write the song.

LOVE that song!!! The version in the OP is great, but I personally prefer the BBC version! I could listen to that song over and over all day long.

I've been very aware of Peter Green for many years, but only started listening in the last 10 years or so.....I've been missing out......

I agree.....if you get the chance....try and find "Live at the Boston Tea Party" and all 3 discs.....the best example of Peter Green and what that band was all about in my opinion.

Where can I find a copy? Joe Perry was at some of those shows and told me the band was amazing at that venue.

I was a PG nut, too. Even had 'End of the Game' and 'In the Skies' (though in that one he let Snowy take most of the leads.)
His wah on the title track of 'End.." is awesome.

I have that on CD, and I love it! I don't have the official "Boston Tea Party" CD, but rather a bastardized compilation of it. Still, it has quite a few gems from that show... including this one that is one of my all-time favorites:

Well then, Lucinda WIlliams' 'Right in Time' would have to be the best song about female masturbation.
