MIM Fender Standard Strat HSS w/ Floyd?

Anyone have experience with these? Got a trade offer for one, was looking to get a Floyd-equipped guitar. MIM Fenders are all over the map for me. I imagine I won't like the pickups, to start. Doesn't look like a recessed Floyd route, either, which I like. Straight up trade for a G&L Tribute ASAT Special that I don't need (already have a better one).

Ok, so I did the trade, and I'm very happy! This is a nice guitar. Will be swapping the pickups, as I suspected, but they're not that bad. I just know how much better it will sound with upgraded pickups.

I might also have the area under the trem recessed a bit, so I can make full use of the Floyd Rose.

One surprise was the brass trem block. It looks like it has a "FR" logo on it, and the guy didn't mention ever modding it, so it seems to be stock. Does anyone know for sure if they come that way now?

The color is Midnight Wine, which has some metallic sparkle to it. Wouldn't have been my choice on paper, but in person it looks really classy-

Very nice. I have one just like that minus the Floyd.

I swapped out the bridge with a Duncan Distortion. It sounds good but not as good as my other strat with a Duncan Hot Rail.

Mine isn't too heavy. Guessing around 8lbs or so.

Cool, they must come with the brass now. This one sounds nice unplugged, too.

I know, I wish it was 22 fret, but not a dealbreaker. Not sure why they don't offer maple, though.

Is this one pretty new? Couldn't tell the year since the headstock wasn't in any of the pics you posted.

Yeah, it's a 2010. Sorry, was hard to snap any half-decent pics with the light in here tonight.

Ok, here's one with my greyhound (he's not as excited)-
