G&L serial number coincidence
A friend who had a really nice music store but sold out to big chain years ago has just opened a new store within the past month. He has some really nice stuff and a bunch of people are now using him to sell old gear on consignment. I have an old (around 96) G&L Legacy I bought of Ebay from some far-away pawnshop about 8 years ago I decided to part with. A few days later I stop by the shop and notice a very similar legacy hanging on the wall next to it. I can usually tell different years of Legacies apart from the feel and these were very close. I look at the two serial numbers: 49302, and 49303!
What are the odds that 15 years later, having totally separate lives, they end up hanging next to each other in a new store in the middle of nowhere within a few days? |

I was pretty shocked. Other than being an interesting coincidence, nothing else to do with the information: i.e. buy a lottery ticket
