RIP Patrice O'Neal

Dead at 41, way too young.

I feel fortunate I was able to see him live last year and very sad I won't get too again.

Really really funny guy who actually was a smart dude.

Shame that he left us when there's so much more material he could've written.

RIP.

OK, I had no idea who he was. Just watched several videos. Friggin' hysterical and smart (best kind of comedy IMO). R.I.P.

Loved him on Arrested Development, I need to check out his standup. It's sad he died so young, there's a dearth of really talented comedians these days.

It seems like I remember him talking about some of his health issues in one of his stand-up routines.

At the Charlie Sheen Roast his health was mocked quite a bit.

I never heard of him before the CHarlie Sheen roast, and he was by far the least funny on there. But it's bad that he lived a short life.

Having seen him live I can say his appearance on the Sheen roast wasn't a very good representation of how gifted a comic he was.

I can only imagine the shit talking he and Giraldo are doing right now.
