If you like the OCD..........(Dark Matter Content)

If you like the Fulltone OCD, you should check out the TC Electronic Dark Matter. I just got it today, and it's very much like the OCD. Meaning, dynamic, open (low compression) and good gain without getting fizzy. I'd say the OCD has a little more push in the lower mids, but a real plus to the Dark Matter is the low and high EQ knobs versus the single tone control. It also stacks well with a Timmy, Hermida Mosferatu, or Red Snapper.

I will keep the OCD (my favorite pedal to date), but will put the Dark Matter in the OCD position on a new smaller board (Pedaltrain Nano). The Nano board will also have a TC Corona Chorus on it. I also tried the TC Mojo overdrive, but didn't care for it. But overall, these new TC pedals are very nice, and at a nice price!
