BTW, Does anyone know if the Flying Luttebachers are still around. I caught a video of a performance they did at the Zebulon in NYC that was so passionate I couldn't take my eyes off of them!

No, they ended something like 2-4 years ago. After the live band fell apart, Weasel did one last record where he played all the parts, except for the vocals(!) on the last song. Though well known for his drumming, the last record, Incarceration By Abstraction, shows he is no slouch on guitar, bass or keys, either.

This looks to be part of the first piece that was played. The very beginning was missed, I suspect due to the slightly chaotic, off-hand way the set started.

You should link this thread to the "what happened to music thread"...could keep that one alive for another 1000 posts or so.
FWIW, Weasel is doing another band with composed songs that I like a lot, Cellular Chaos. We played with them earlier this year.

The following clip is pretty representative:

That is a Carruthers guitar, with 6 normal strings and a place to put a 7th string in the manner of a 5th banjo string, though I don't think he uses it.

The drummer is Marc Edwards,

I don't see it on there. I didn't even see any writing on the pedal in question.
