Decorative trapeze tailpiece?
Anybody ever tried using one as a decorative piece on a guitar that already has a bridge? I'm thinking it would be a cool look for my PRS SE with a tremolo.

You mean without actually running the strings into it? How would you keep it from flopping around?

Puits me in mind of that Ibnuez "LP" type gtr that had an F5 mandolin type headstock and a mother-of-seagull-sh*t faux tailpiece "inlaid" into the top, behind the bridge. The Secret Agent model or something.
Doesn't that Trucks boy have a Maestro/Lyre type t.p. thing screwed onto one of his SGs?
