any Vibroking love?

I haven't tried one of these yet. But on paper it seems like my kind of amp.

The Vibro-King is one serious amp. I used to own one, but it was too serious for me. What I mean is that I'm a homebound player and 60 watts was just too much. This amp is crazy loud. In concert, Pete Townshend plays it only on 3! The amp had the best reverb I've ever heard.

Amazing amp Even better if you have someone to move it for you.

what's a current reasonable price for a used Vibroking?
One of my favorite players uses one, I'm curious about them.

it actually has a seperate fender reverb unit built into the back of the amp. They are killer sounding amps but are just really loud , sound more like 100 watts to me. I love the way they sound pushed to the limit and as said above , the reverb sounds great.

Great amp for gigs. The clean sound is fantastic and it takes pedals very well; I used to love mine with FD2 and Maxon AD999. The reverb is simply stunning.
However, it is loud and HEAVY.

My AC30TBX is a tad bit heavier than my Vibro-King was but the Vibro-King tilts when you carry it. That said...GREAT-sounding amp. There is no substitute.

Used I'd say $1200 to $1500

Great and unique amp. Heavy as hell and not well balanced, either. Just perfect at the edge of breakup. Crazy money new.

I think I received more gig compliments with my VK than all of my other amps combined. Just a wonderful throaty growl.

It would be on the short list if I was a real gigging musician.

Are your arms different lengths?

Buy this amp and you will take care of the problem. Great amp by un-Godly heavy. Between the Vibroking, Bogner Shiva 1x12, Mesa 2x12 combos, and Bad Cat Hot Cat 30R 1x12 I do not know which would leave you for dead after a long load in on a Saturday night.

If you will play at home and can play pretty loud it's awesome, I love the boost on it.

I have gigged a ton, and have owned two. They are one of the most touch-sensitive amps I've played, BUT; too loud for just about anywhere I've played. I like to have at least a little room on the dial, and it's too good of an amp to play on "2". Barring the weight and loudness, it's a killer, and it has the 3 knob reverb.

I slowly fell out of love with my Vibro King. I always wanted it to sound like a BFSR and in the end I sold mine and got a BFSR that fits me better. I did like the reverb on the VK and the cleans were good...while they lasted. I struggled with the clean headroom and for me it got gain too quickly. It did handle pedals well, particularly Marshall-y type pedals like a Bluesbreaker, KOT and Jetter pedals, and I did use the loop a lot, but in the end a good old Super worked better for me.

It's funny - people always say this amp sounds like the voice of god himself, but it's too heavy and too loud. Lately Fender seems to be keeping an eye on what people want and finally they're starting to make these things in an effort to keep themselves from getting beaten to the punch by small builders who will. Maybe one of these days we'll see a smaller Vibro-King? Perhaps a Vibro-Prince? That would intrigue the ever-living shit out of me, but as long as it's a huge loud heavy amp, I don't think it's something I'd get much use out of, so I haven't tried to hard to find one to try out...

Cool thing to do with the Vibro-King is to turn all eq controls off and just use volume to taste.
