Looking for the original owner to my 2003 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Stinger
This is a real long shot but here goes...
I’m looking for the original owner of this guitar just to see if I can get some more info and track its lineage. I’m the fourth owner and have already discussed it with the second & third owners. The first owner sold it on eBay to Mark Bishop (Mark’s Guitar Loft) with a broken headstock. If this was your old guitar, or you know who’s it was, please let me know. ![]() ![]()

I don't know the original owner, but it's part of a special run of guitars from 2003 for a company in Washington (state) named Music Machine. Back then they did a ton of sales over the internet and became a Gibson super dealer. In 03 Music Machine did several different runs of stinger guitars.
I have an 02 R0 which was part of a small run for the MM 25th anniversary. No stinger on mine. |

Yes, thanks. I knew that already. I also know there were only 18 R0 Stingers made.
Do you have any pictures of your your R0?

Sweet top. I got over that fear a long time ago. Can't really enjoy 'em that way.
So, nobody recalls seeing this Stinger back around 2003? Come on, the world isn't that big.
