Harmony Rocket wiring issues

My 1968 Harmony Rocket H56 developed a static/scratchy sound, and the guitar tech replaced the wiring harness. My tone is totally changed, thin & bright, so I returned it, he did some adjustments, and the tone is still not "right". I just want the old tone back, minus the static. I have the old harness. Any ideas on what is the best way to get my old Rocket tone back?

Thin and bright on all pickups? A broken pickup will sound thin, bright, and weak. The test for that is tone control will act as a volume control. The other possibility is that your tech did not use the correct value of potentiometer or tone cap.

Send the original harness to Dr. Vintage and have him clean it. Its BS that your guy switched it out.
