I think there may already be more Landry amp threads than there are Landry amps.

I dunno how many he's sold by now, but in one of those threads a while back I was told, rather indignantly, that he was a "well-respected and well-known amp manufacturer" by one of the posters who owned one of his amps. I'm not sure that he realized that, at the time, Landry was just then delivering his 16th amp, and it was actually a second amp for one of his 14 customers. I'm sure it's gone well beyond that by now <G>.

I think the record, though, was for an amp "manufacturer" who shall go nameless -- there were several threads for his amps from people who swore they were the hottest thing on the market. Turned out that he only ever built four amps with his name on them, sold just one, and showed all four of them at the LA Amp Show one year (to rave reviews). Unfortunately, he had to go to work at a real job shortly thereafter, and I think all three of the remaining amps are still in his garage. Nonetheless, threads still showed up on the internet touting the quality of his amps from people who claimed they owned them.

Saw that!

Asked Bill a question about my amp.......30 minutes later I felt like I could build one...... he knows his stuff.........

He doesn't build them to sound like something else.......builds them how he wants them to sound.
