The nylon ones look like they'd be less conspicuous. I temporarily used the chrome ones to fill some extra holes the previous owner put...

Depending on the thickness of the panel, the black nylon plugs can rattle. You can use super glue or hot glue to prevent that.

Classical guitarists do this.. Somehow a protective sleeve for an electric guitar doesn’t feel very rock & roll, but to each their own!

They are the same size as a typical input Jack that a 1/4 cable would go into, I’ll se if I can measure exactly
