FYI, there is both a Gain trimmer inside, and a switch for buffered/True Bypass.

+/-10% variability is apparently pretty common, or at least that’s what a quick search suggests.

So general thoughts are: who cares as long as it works, it is owned IP / not a stolen design, and ideally workers are well compensated?
