You are missing the effort the moderator team expends to keep this section civil and especially on topic. The polls and proposed changes are due to that; this section should not be the amount of work for the moderators as it is.- Scott Peterson

The issue becomes a double-edged sword. New sections need the traffic to survive; established forums work because of the volume of new posts. If you siphon too much from one section to another - you run the chance of messing up both sections.- Scott Peterson

IMHO, here's why people get combative about the definition of "vintage"
