@RMosack I get my rig tomorrow -DS/Slo was my classic to shred otping. Not so sure about the Plexi thing myself which leads us to the 800.
At some point you need to try the Slo module. Andy Wood loves and so does just about everyone else. It is a hot rodded Marshall :beer
Here is a secret...
Wow!! The feel, acoustic tone, pups tuning stability -WOW!
Custom bucker do not sequel, fantastic Ky bourbon flamed top and sounds killer with Marshall tones!
Just got it at lunch and yes paid way too much for a new one but I wanted the Plek and newer ones that have a great rep, and it lived up...
I own the pa used at 80% of the gigs -don't set you beer on my subs dammit :jo
Agreed one beer per set -not shots is cool. If we are playing a casino gig -better hide it, it's a no no. o_O
I like the wait till the 1st set is over because I'm in charge of the sound too.
I would like the hear any of the Beatles try and sing any Zep tune. It would be like David lee Roth trying a Hagar tune, well not really but sort of.
Beatles were a pop band with amazing pop melodies and catchy pop hits. Zep were Stadium rock titans. When the Beatles played Candlestick park no...
@esizer was that the head syn50 or the 50/50 power amp? I have the ps2 which is not anemic. When you say the modules were good was that recording or direct or?
This thread is for those who own and use or have own and used them!
@randombastage thanks!!! I am totally on the fence as to whether to use my PS2 (voiced flat) or get the SYN50 head (voiced for guitars)
Any experience with the ps2 ? Also what type of tones are you using the DS for bad Co type...
@sants we talked about the Turbosound units. So My K181's are a huge step up from those, so for now I'm very pleased with them!
So the units your talking about will fly in the K181 pole right?
Also can i use my K12's on the ground in conjunction with the line array on the pole above the k181?
For say the BE module would you guys who have used them or tried it does it sound more like the popular BE pedal or closer to the real amp? Vastly different to me.
Live application is my primary interest using a Fyette PS2 and 4x12
@sants Dude you are a wealth of knowledge!!
So, I would like to keep my 181 subs the suggestions could work with the top and still tie into those right? The subs are fine it's the line array type wide dispersion im looking for.
Currently i
have the QSC K series subs and 12" pole mounted speakers that are really good, but for any outdoor gig they can be very 'uni directional' What are high level options that would disperse sound better? Context is a hard rockin pub tpye band.
@Jason Carter I listened to all the YT clips as well but I've had enough gear arrive to be underwhelmed to put all my trust in YT clips alone.
Did you get the modules?
@JerEvil I have the ps2 and would like to run 2 modules for live use will that be enough or would I be splitting the 50w between the 2 modules and not be enough? I am on the fence as to getting the 50 50 head to just slide the modules in and have 50w per module, thanks for any info!
@Jason...
Hi, interested but have a couple of questions, I have the ps2 power amp, is that enough to run 2 modules or should I be thinking about the 50/50 head for band volumes?
Is this the one on Reverb? I am interested, however I have not tried any synergy products yet. My plan is to make a Sweetwater order and try several modules then return what I don't like.
How is this module? Some clips sound great others really sterile. Also I have the ps2 power amp, is that...
