FxFloorBoard for the Katana MK1 and MK2 has been updated just today, so if you download version 20201007 (7th October 2020),
the Patch Loader midi patch change function should see some improvement.
download the latest FxFloorBoard for Katana from here...
FxFloorBoard has a built in help menu for quick setup, and the "F1" key can be pressed and then point & click your mouse cursor on any function you want info/help on.
It is quite easy to use once you have a play with it.
The sneaky amps are built into the editor in the preamp selection list, all...
The Kat 50 has 4 channel + panel, the 100 has 8 channels +panel.
Tone Studio lets you set the chain order in a few ways, but if you use a 3rd party editor like FxfloorBoard or the Android Librarian, you can set any chain order you wish.
Download the new updated version as of today, with the *.tsl file export issue fixed.
I would advise on getting the 100w model, there is a little difference in the sound, not much, but many 50w buyers end u wishing they got the 100w after, because of the extra features the 100w has.
Send/Return loop, line output (50w one cuts out the speaker), option to use the GAFC controller...
There is also the MOD and FX, if you have one unused, select the EQ and use a flat EQ as BenoA suggested, and bump the level up.
The main EQ effect, the Parametric level does 20dB gain, and the Graphic EQ does 12dB
The MOD or FX EQ, both the Paramteric and the Graphic EQ levels offer 20dB gain.
A simple trick is to use the S/R Loop, place a patch lead between the Send and return, and set the Send and Return parameter settings to your required boost level. (with the S/R Loop switched 'on').
You can also use a foot switch or GAFC to toggle the S/R Loop on/off for solo boost too.
That is a good price for a Katana Artist,
sound is always subjective, but I feel it will be a good upgrade from Ampiltube, and the katana is very dynamic.
No iOS connectivity, but there are PC/MAc, and Android options for editing, once your desired tones are setup, there is not much need to...
You appear to be running FxFloorBoard for the original Firmware 1, you have never updated your Katana firmware from 1.01?
The settings which save are the last settings changed, if youmoved the knobs before saving then the knob positions are saved to your channel,
If you moved the software...
FxFloorBoard editor will read the Factory default patches out of the Katana ROM memory,
and you can save them one at a time to file, and/or load one/some into a Katana User patch/Channel.

I just answered this very same question yesterday on VGuitarForums,
Since the R/G/Y button only changes the effect "type" parameter,
a lot of the RED/GREEN/YELLOW effects share the same parameters.
Booster/Delay/Reverb share common settings,
where as MOD and FX have unique sets of parameters...
