    Which tribute band for you?

agree! I think dressing the part is rather ridiculous. It is the music that counts.

    Which tribute band for you?

I currently play out every weekend in a Grateful Dead tribute band. We play yo hundreds each weekend and I make over $300 per gig most of the time. Sometimes a lot more. I can’t write music well and what I did write, no one wanted to come out and hear it. Works for me.

    Sold Brand new - literally unopened - PRS Silver Sky - Frost white/rosewood - 6.8lbs - $1900!!

Why don't you just return it to Sweetwater if you just received it? Don't get why you would lose money vs. just returning it. What are we missing? They take returns within 30 days of purchase.

Quilter Micro Pro Mach 2 or Mach 2 HD?

I have been using a Quilter Pro Block 200 and have been very happy with it. I am also considering an Aviator Head or 2 x 10. I sold all my tube amps. YMMV

    Sold Forte 3D 112 cabinet

One of the best cabinets I ever played through. I own two of the 3D cabs w. tilt back stand. Awesome product. I wish it was lighter. I have neo speakers in there to help lighten the load.

Carpeted stages are pretty common in very old bars that may have an slightly elevated stage I used to play Tobacco Road in Miami all the time and it was a carpeted stage. The stage at the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, Fl , where I play very often is carpeted. Not a fan of carpeted stages.

Glad you caught Funkin' Grateful at the show that Sunday. We joke and renamed the band "The Quilter Bros". Glad you liked the tone as well, so do I ;) . The Southern Belles were excellent I thought. I was also in the band (Unlimited Devotion) just before Southern Belles, pulled double duty...

Well if I misunderstood , then I apologize, but it appears that my comments/opinions were being discounted because I don't follow the threads enough (which I readily admit) or wasn't aware of who was commenting on each thread. It just seems if you differ in opinion from the masses, your opinions...

If you are a gigging musician, the direct out is a blessing in disguise. It works tremendously well. The signal it gives the soundman to work with is very strong and I have had three sound engineers comment on that. I cut through the mix better as well. Much better than mic'ing your cabinet YMMV...

Who ever said life was fair Jon? Has nothing to do whether I am fair or not. I don't need to be "fair" with my own opinions. They are not a statement of fact. It is simply my opinion.......Never said a bedroom guitar player couldn't provide proper input. Re-read, I said I would rather take input...

Dude, my perspective is the fact I do quite a few gigs monthly and I interact with musicians who play through these amps. I don't have time to spend all day on forums reading everyones opinions. They are like assholes, we all have them. My perspective is not backwards at all. I am stating my...

Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth to follow every quilter thread. i was really referring to real life examples with players that I know who use Quilters, not what I read online. I wish I had the time to follow every thread, but simply don't have the time. I will rephrase my...

I never heard of people complaining about the dirty channel on a MP2. the only reason I did not buy an MP2 is that I do not have any need for all those settings . My pedals sculpt my sound and I wanted a solid platform to build that on , hence the Pro Block 200 (with great reverb and the...

    Quilter OWNERS chime in

I perform weekly at larger venues and I use the Pro Block 200 and 2 Forte 1 x 12 cabs (smaller gigs, I would use my 1 x 12 from mesa boogie). Took me minimal time to dial it in and makes a great pedal platform, which is exactly what I was looking for. I replaced my Roland JC120 head and a...
