How can anyone reply in a meaningful fashion when you don't give us anything to work with? :bonk
What kind of footswitch?
They are out of just the saddeles at the moment.
The 5150 III 50w is awesome, but it doesn't really do early VH tones that well, doesn't got the Marshall "kerrang". But it's one damn great amp...
While not identical, I can say as a certified EVH tone nut it sounds pretty damn good still!
It's not a pitch shifter that does detune.
It's basically the chorus section of a Roland DC-30 in pedal form...
The DD-200 looks brilliant!
He's talking about analog dry-through. :)
For the EVH style it always sounds better after dirt IMO, and that's how he did it too... :)
I would guess the TC's are using the same base pitch tech, so the quality would be pretty much the same. But the Brainwaves are set up to do...
The EVH Chorus doesn't really do that detune sound. Of those listed, the pitch shifters does it, like the Luxe, Quintessence and Brainwaves.
There is nothing similar to the DIG with a display. Period.
Black limba with maple top sounds hot to me.
The Spiral Electric Effects Yellow, hands down the best "250" I've ever had! Expensive maybe, but so worth it.
They did a damn fine job with the SDE-3000 in the Katana, so I trust them to do a good job with the Space Echo.
Yup, every chip in a socket, luckily, not all of them are... :D
My H3000 is bad enough too
I always go out front and center for solos. Got to own there stage for those solo spots! :)
The Sterling series started out being a bit meh, but I have to say they really upped the game the last few years, now the quality is pretty damn good!
Look for a used Amplifire 3 maybe, that would be hard to beat on the price-performance ratio.
Jeff Becks No.1 strat which he have used almost exclusively since he got it in early 90s , has a basswood body.
The newer Bassbreaker 30 have a loop. :)
