Not a site but he used to reached at:
I don’t know much about it but I think you can order them direct from Paul.
I think there’s also a newer Komet version.
I sold a Turbo Rat to Stephen O’Malley.
An ‘82 MXR Distortion+. Instant Neil Young and Husker Du tones right there.
Are those EMGs?
Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should.
I always have either an OD or Fuzz on. Never play clean.
Fulltone Ultimate Octave
MXR Phase 90
It used to be an old Soulbender & Green Russian Muff but more recently he seems to be leaning more on Shin-Ei style fuzzes, the FY-6 & the FY-2.
I think the contract expired but the FRV-1 was the best Spring Reverb pedal out there.
Is it the 200 series?
I see someone’s already mentioned running a pair of TS9/808s but I’d also add a pair of SD1s or even better, an SD1 & a BD2.
Just an old BOSS SD-1. Always on, with gain around 8-9 o’clock.
The classics for me. BOSS SD-1 & an old ProCo Rat.
The Rat is great but you could also do the whole Bob Mould / Husker Du / Sugar thing and run a MXR Distortion + into it.
Drop the Chorus pedal. You can dial in Chorus like effects with the Flanger anyway.
Keep the Vibe, Phase, & Flanger
Sort of. I have 4 pedals on my "board" and really only use my '96 ProCo Rat 2 consistently.
So it's: Epi '58 Flying V >> Rat 2 >> VOX AC15C1
'97 ProCo Rat
You just described the Death By Audio Fuzz War. Lot of a different tones between the Fuzz & Tone knob and you guitar controls.
Jeorge Tripps of Way Huge and pedal engineer over at Dunlop.
Would be cool if Mr. Tripps got involved and added the Kay Fuzz circuit to it or just make a Kay Fuzz clone without the phaser....
Great pedal but they seem to be getting harder and harder to find.
