Neck is very jazzy
Middle adds a nice top end chime and clarity
Bridge will do country to rock easily but can do jazzy p90...
Clark Amplification is worth a look. Used are great deals.
I use a 5e3 and had a nkt sunlion. I have since replaced it with a brighter rca.
In both cases I went low gain. Prefer the cut of the rca.
Maybe try a few different p90s also.

Amp bloom perhaps. Big archtop pushing a small octal tube amp to its limits.
Les lius is great with my tweed deluxe.
Jhs ruby red was nice too
Usually archtop guitars with Charlie Christian, p13, or p90s and 40’s and early 50’s amps
Octal tubes a plus but later tweeds sound great too....
The mad Professor little tweedy is nice but has huge mids. I’d imagine it would work well with modern amps with scooped mids.
