I have to ask as I find this amp interesting. what's the current wait time like/
Once you get one, whether its $100 above the actual price or not, you will not need to worry about comparisons, IMO
Some people leave it on and lower the bass on the amp.
Running it INTO a DLS will tighten the bass.
Oakland Coliseum 4/27/69
Here you go. 13 minutes of blues- The original In The West version, San Diego Sports Arena 5/24/69
On the original Woodstock and Woodstock II albums, the percussionists are loud and clear.
While they worked well in some tunes (Hear My Train, Jam...
Not my experience with the '76 Dyna Comp RI at all. I ran the level higher than the Sustain.
I recorded myself using the DC in front of a FD-II...
Those clips are horrible :rotflmao
Cause I generally stick with my higher gain distortion pedals and just recently got the Dyna Comp. Didnt think to give it a try till yesterday.
Hartman silicon fuzz is very good
Not really.... just something I havent tried in a long time. I used the Dyna Comp in front of a DS-1 back in the late 70's.
Nothing wrong with your recordings at all, IMO. I thought the first clip and especially a few of the follow-up clips copped that tone about as...
Since I play into cleaner amps (Reeves/Reinhard) some of the OD's I've collected don't really have the kind of sustain I'm looking for.

Woodstock was wah, fuzz, Univibe, amp
BOG was wah, Octavia, fuzz,...
A TUBE tape delay more sterile than a SS EP-3? LOL ok
I'll take the TTE over ANY 40 year old clunker, restored or not.
The KR Gypsy Fuzz sounds nothing like the RM Axis Fuzz.
The KR The Fuzz is FAR from a clean boost, having more fuzz than the Gypsy.
The Gypsy does...
After hearing your pedal line, I agree
Yeah, ok..... Qualified guessing, is still guessing. I've read all the books, pics, interviews. Im a collector since '71 and 95% of the stuff...
Hollow Drop Top. Koa on Basswood. ALL Rosewood neck. Fattest TA I ever owned-
The real deal. Saw him 3X. MSG '73, Shea Stadium '76 and My Fathers Place 80's
No offense, but tonewise that Bad Cat sounds like a miked cardboard box next to that Dumble video.
The Dumble is phat, expressive, soulful....I...
Sounds close to a Maestro PS1-A. Carl Martin's Two Faze is a clone. I got one and it's killer.
Just ordered one. IMO, a VERY musical pedal, and that's not yet even hearing the higher fuzz settings.
3 pages of guessing :jo
